Social Work

INTRODUCTION

CAFDA's pioneering spirit lives on. From Distress to Development. The escalating social challenges confronting Cape Flats' residents threaten the very fibre of our communities. There is an on-going and increasing need for family care, particularly in cases where families have been negatively affected by social, economic and political change. CAFDA has accepted the challenge by addressing these multi-dimensional problems.

CHILDREN AND FAMILY is our Core Business.

We provide FREE Child Protection Services for children male/female from birth to 18yrs of age in accordance with the CHILDREN'S ACT NO. 38 of 2005.

We provide Early Intervention (Assessment); Statutory and Foster Care Services for children in need of care, including Abused (emotional, physical, sexual); Neglected; Abandoned Children and Children affected by Drugs; Alcohol and Violence (Criminal and Domestic).
